When you call, ask what referral paperwork is required and whether a GP letter must arrive before the visit. Ask what the first consultation costs, what the fee includes, and how follow-up visits are charged. Find out whether the first assessment leads to a home sleep test or an in-lab overnight study, and how long results take. Ask whether appointment confirmations and any forms can be sent before the visit. If you need an interpreter, ask whether one can be arranged for the appointment. It is worth asking whether the practice deals with the kind of sleep problem you have, since some clinics focus on particular conditions. If the practice sits inside a larger medical centre, ask which building and floor to go to. The listing is a directory entry rather than a booking service; check the practice's current details before making plans.
